First Dedicated Esports Venue in Liverpool ONE

Esports has become one of the fastest-growing industries in recent years, with a global audience estimated to reach over 600 million by 2023. The UK is no exception, with a thriving esports scene and a growing number of venues catering to this market. Liverpool is set to join the list of cities with dedicated esports venues with the launch of Level Tap, a 6,500sqft gaming arena and spectator venue, set to open its doors in May 2023.

Level Tap has been in development for several months, and our friends at The Momentum Group have been selected to lead the project. As the trusted IT and Data Infrastructure contractor, we are thrilled to be part of this exciting venture. Our team has been working closely with The Momentum Group to design and implement the state-of-the-art IT infrastructure that will power Level Tap.

``Given the surging demand for esports streaming and gaming, it just makes sense for a place like Liverpool to have a dedicated venue.``

The venue is set to feature top-of-the-line gaming equipment, including high-end PCs, consoles, and racing simulators, as well as a range of arcade machines. The facility will also have a bar area, themed with a wide selection of drinks and snacks suited to the gaming genre, to keep players and spectators refreshed.

Level Tap is designed to cater to casual gamers, competitors, and spectators, with plenty of space for teams to practice and compete. The venue will also host tournaments and events, with the capacity to broadcast live streams to a global audience.

The launch of Level Tap comes at a time when the esports market is experiencing exponential growth, with global revenues projected to reach close to £1 billion in 2023. This growth is fuelled by the increasing popularity of competitive gaming, particularly among younger audiences, who are drawn to the fast-paced, competitive, high-intensity gameplay and the sense of community that comes with being part of a team.

Liverpool has a vibrant gaming community, and the launch of Level Tap is set to provide a much-needed boost to the local esports scene. The venue will attract players and spectators from all over the UK, as well as international teams and fans, putting Liverpool firmly on the map as a destination for esports.

The launch of Level Tap is an exciting development for Liverpool’s gaming community and the wider esports industry. With its state-of-the-art facilities and commitment to hosting top-class events, Level Tap is set to become a major player in the UK esports scene. With our knowledge of achieving a low-latency network infrastructure for esports events, we are proud to be part of this project and look forward to seeing the venue thrive in the coming years.
