Hosted Telephony – How Does it work?

The clever technology behind the Cloud Telephone System is a fully Hosted PBX or IP Service.  The telephone system we install in not actually installed locally on your premises.  Instead, it is operating from a secure datacentre in the UK.  The handsets are simply plugged into your local network, they obtain an internal IP address from your network server or Router and are then automatically logged into the hosted PBX over the internet.

You can move your handset to anywhere in the world.  As long as you have an internet connection, your phone will connect to our hosted PBX and it will work.  It will have the same external DDI, the same local DDI and you will still be able to make and receive calls from the hunt group you are assigned to, just as if you were sitting at your desk in the office
